My Advisors have already had some discuscion with Mr. Rowall and Bishop Hall separately about objections of Anglican Schoolo and revised Code, of which my approval is being sought. Those objections are of a fundamental nature and I propose to defer approval of or comment on, the revised Code until there has been opportunity for further discussion here and for reference to the Hong Kong Sub-Committee of the Advisory Comittee on Education in the Celonies. For various reasona this may take some months.
Meanwhile I have in my telegram No.Ÿ/4....... approved your proposals for revision of salaries of Staff of grant-in-aid schools.
